0 and 4

The 4-0 synergy has a varied number of implications and results. To begin with, you will obviously get a blending of the qualities of each of these numbers, and since the 0 basically amplifies anything it comes into contact with, you will get an extrapolation of the solid, stubborn and restrictive 4’s traits. Secondly, the 0-4 could reminding us to be wary of a particularly difficult and stubborn problem that one is dealing with. Thirdly, the 4 and 0 tag-team may touch on themes of both sudden materialization and elimination of things from one’s life; in relation to this, this combo may define the process of acceleration and sudden changes that may occur in any process, while at the same time serving as a reminder of the need to integrate material and subtler, more spiritual aspects of one’s life together, somewhat akin to the 8.   

So what happens when we line up the next even number after the 2 with that of the 0 ? Well as I touched on previously, the combination of two even numbers together results in the same themes of stagnancy and deadlock, but here with the 4 there are obviously differences. As you would predict, the traits of the 4 are expanded upon with the added 0, meaning you would have enhanced themes surrounding things like discipline, boundaries, strongholds, strength (along with the 1), security structures, conservatism, rules, caution, restriction, incarceration, limitations, foundations and (together with the 8) greed, but here, it’s particularly of the stingy type because of the underlying nature of holding something (for example, money or possessions) back. 

Expanding on the previous paragraph, the 4-0 combination can specifically indicate a serious deadlock and stagnancy of something, and though I touched on this with the 0-2 pattern, here this quality truly reaches a peak. Here, we’re talking about some serious constipation and obstruction of things in life. Why is this? Well, we already know that the 4 (compared to the 2) specifically represents a stubborn, obstinate, restrictive “stuck-ness,” but, even more interesting is that the 0 itself is a type of ultimate lord of inactivity and passivity, since it represents sleeping potential; you can see now how this makes for an extremely difficult, steadfast and stubborn problem. In fact, it’s almost like that damn roommate who wakes you at 3 am with a chainsaw-like snore that pierces your ear. No matter how much you clap, yell or even shake that jerk, he won’t wake up; and so, the snore continues or even gets louder until you feel the maddening urge to expressly send him to the afterlife and get some sleep; well, that particular type of roommate would be the epitome of the 4-0 combination for this concept.

Next, Finally, As previously mentioned, the 4 and the 0, represent opposite ends of a continuum from absence (the 0) to solid materialization (the 4). In regards to this, the combination of such opposite ends together may tell a tale of suddenness of events in life, such as a sudden, flooding materialization of desire after a period of emptiness and drought in one’s life. On the other hand, the opposite misfortune may also happen, where a full river may run dry: the sudden exit and dissipation of a solid structure or “thing” in our life. Either way, this digit combination could forewarn of sudden changes, including anything from a material possession(s) and wealth to relationships and general events, in our lives. In fact, we could venture further to even say that 4-0 can represent a type of accelerated cycle of a process, particularly when talking about the jarring elimination of structures and things that we depend on from our lives. This is because since the 4 touches on themes of final mature stages of things; so, the additional 0 is like jumping from the final stage of something into nothingness, which may be seen as epitomizing the process of death, but with the specific goal of launching into a fresh cycle of activity of new growth by hitting a reset button to clear away such previous structures and “growths;” in this case, that would precisely be the circular 0, visually resembling the circular reset button. Yet, there is another possible side to this, and that is a “marriage” and integration between the physical and spiritual worlds (similar to what we discussed about the 8) so that this pattern of numbers urges us to live a complete life of balance between the physical (4) and spiritual (0) aspects of ourselves.
