0 and 2

Here we come across a rather interesting combination, as both the 0 and 2 can represent more feminine qualities of reception, attraction, magnetism, passivity, silence, stillness and allowing; therefore, this can be interpreted as an extreme shift and amplification of such qualities. Of course, this can be good or bad, depending in the situation. Now, you may be wondering why I just linked the 0 with feminine qualities; after all, isn’t the 0 the “ultimate neutral gear of the universe?” Well, that is correct; however, I believe the 0’s nature can easily function in a more feminine manner as well, since it’s “elusive” nature bestows an air of mystery and subtlety to it, which have always been associated with femininity; additionally, as previously mentioned, it functions as the “pregnant void and womb of creation” of the universe (enough said), with an almost magical ability to sit in stillness, and yet passively draw towards itself with great attraction and gravity, rather than projecting forth and chasing after with great surges of action, energy and dynamism, which can be seen as more masculine qualities.       

Consider for a moment the association of the 0 with winter from “0 and 1;” so since we have another even number here, it could in a sense be associated with an enhancement of winter-like qualities. Now, when you have a combination of numbers of a similar quality, then such a tendency towards extremes automatically suggests a disturbance of balance and inherent instability. Perhaps we are being too passive in our everyday lives, and this is leading us to simple stagnation, whether that be in our career plans, relationships, or everyday life. It can almost be symbolized by each digit representing a person, and both of these people are highly attractive (whether that be in appearance, personality or both), especially to one another, but each one is simply sitting quietly and attempting to lure in the other without taking any action themselves, so the result becomes that both become frustrated since neither is able to start a conversation with the other; in other words, we again have that state of stagnation. There is another face to this particular number combination, and that is of emotional lability and a loss of stability of one’s mind. Now why do I say this? Well, remember what I had stated about the number 2 representing extreme swings in nature? Well, I had also stated that the 0 adds a potential power punch to any number it’s associated with; therefore, the 2‘s extreme oscillations are greatly amplified like tidal waves under the moon, or even like a tsunami, under the the 0‘s influence.

However, on the flip side, this magnified ability to receive can translate into an almost magical and effortless ability to attract things towards itself, such as wealth, especially when the feminine quality is enhanced. Now, though the 0 already has a default ability to magnetize and attract things towards and around itself like the low-pressure calm eye of the storm generating the storm around it, the 2 only adds fuel to this particular fire by multiplying the attractive-magnetic effect. The quality of spirituality can also be strengthened through this enhancement, since, as previously mentioned, spirituality, like sleep, also requires a feminine, still, quiet, receptive, passive, “letting-go” approach. Ok, so why does this mystical ability to attract things happen in the first place? Well, if we keep in mind that nature always tends towards balance, then if we swing too far in the direction of quietness, stillness, absence, inaction and passivity, then nature will “correct” this “imbalance” by bringing in a rush of masculine energy: loudness, upset, presence, activity and initiative around us. But this isn’t surprising as, for example, after a full night’s rest, we cannot sleep anymore and wake up with an abundance of energy which must be used and “discharged” in a now masculine manner. To reiterate the phenomenon of low pressure systems: since the pressure is low, it will tend to attract and draw towards it blowing winds which will eventually lead to rising air, condensation and active, cloudy, stormy weather. So again, the low pressure system, due to its tendency to attract and draw towards itself through the quality of stilling itself, could be representative of the feminine aspect, versus the blowing winds, stormy weather, commotion and loud atmospheric activity which would symbolize the more masculine principle.

To summarize then, the conjunction of the 2 and 0 is special in that both numbers have feminine qualities of stillness, drawing and attraction. The consequence of such a conjunction can be negative, resulting in stagnation and a lack of action, or positive such an enhanced power to attract thing of desire towards oneself, such as wealth; additionally, we have to keep in mind that spiritual development is a phenomenon which requires a feminine approach, since it cannot be achieved through masculine principles of sheer force, activity, overpowering and control; naturally then, the 2 and 0 together can symbolize a successful implementation of such spirituality, or the need for such an implementation by blending together the energies and qualities signified by these two numbers.
